Dear Friends,
For several years the Pashtun Cultural Institute has contributed to the needy families in Pakistan from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region. In 2018, we are pledging to help 100 families that are in need of support on many levels.
Our criteria for support is based on the overall need of the family situation. In addition to monetary support, the institute also aids in educating the families by providing literate education and skills training for these families to become self-sufficient in providing for future needs. The turmoil and disorder caused by years amidst a state of war leaves an unprecedented future for the young girls growing up in the region. The lack of proper infrastructure for education and the shutdown of many schools in the region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has led to alienation of its people from the world.
We are looking to open schools, provide medicine, and basic sanitary needs to the people in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. We would like to start with the implementation through these 50 families in 2013 with hopes of future growth expansion to help impact the entire area. Currently we need to raise $ 500,000.00 USD for our planned implementation of initial needs for these 100 families and school construction.
I am writing for your exposure on this important need and for the opportunity that you can help in any way to advance our impact on this project. Any help that can be extended is much appreciated.
