Akbar Ahmed – Journey Into Europe: Islam, Immigration, and Identity

In the latest of his studies examining relations between the West and the Muslim world, Ambassador Ahmed, author of Journey into Islam andJourney into America, draws on extensive discussions with people throughout Europe. Traveling with a team of researchers, Ahmed, the Ibn Khaldun Chair of Islamic Studies at American University and the former Pakistani High Commissioner to the UK and Ireland, met with archbishops, chief rabbis, grand muftis, heads of right-wing parties, and ordinary people.
